Community to Celebrate the Opening of
Andrew P. Hill High School New Student Union Building
On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., students, parents, Board members, administrators, staff, and community members will celebrate the opening of the new student union at Andrew P. Hill High School. The new student union creates a distinct and welcoming entry experience. The building programming includes food services, large event rooms, meeting rooms, a large dining hall, lounge spaces and offices.
The design objectives for Andrew P. Hill High School are to renew existing educational and communal connections through physical form and to re-align the school’s presence and point of arrival. The new student union embraces these opportunities with a structure that is mindful of the adjacent architecture in massing and detailing, improves upon current campus circulation patterns, and is responsive to the environment in a very tangible manner.
